Saturday Night Live viewers got a six-minute dose of Broadway razzmatazz in a cleverly written and performed sketch on the show’s October 8 episode. Dressed as Wolverine, cast member Andy Samberg played the host of a talk show called The Best of Both Worlds, a parody of Hugh Jackman’s affinity for juggling action movies (Real Steel) and musical theater (including his forthcoming concert series Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway). “Guests” included Ben Stiller as Mandy Patinkin, who joined faux-Jackman in a knife fight while singing “Castle on a Cloud” (!) from Les Miz. But the biggest laughs came when the real Jackman made a cameo appearance in costume as Daniel Radcliffe in How to Succeed and sparred with himself...er, Samberg...plus Bill Hader as Clint Eastwood.
